Established in 1975, the Kosova Academy of Sciences and Arts is the supreme national institution of sciences and the arts of Kosovo. Since its creation, the Kosova Academy has especially positioned itself in the field of the humanities and the social sciences, Albanian studies, and the natural sciences. Closely interlinked with many European National Academies, AShAK has made significant contributions to various research fields and represents an indispensable voice in the scientific debate on issues related to major European topics.
